The deodorant stick from Corpus is the result of years of research into natural chemistry. It was developed to show that natural deodorants can also be uncompromisingly effective.

The aluminium-free formula with active enzymes from plant fermentation and sustainably sourced plant and mineral ingredients helps to neutralize odour-causing bacteria. The water-based gel formula is particularly suitable for sensitive skin, glides gently over the skin and leaves no white residue.

Corpus was founded in 2018 by J.P. Mastey in California. As a skincare expert with a keen sense of aesthetics, he wanted to create products that are uncompromisingly cleanly formulated and feel luxurious at the same time. The impetus for this was personal: when he became a father in 2015, he began to take a closer look at ingredients. What he was missing at the time was a brand that truly combined purity, effectiveness and design. This is exactly what gave rise to Corpus.

Corpus formulations are plant-based, vegan and deliberately developed to combine performance, sensory properties and sustainability. Because Corpus is not just about what is in a product, but also about how it feels in everyday life. The brand stands for the conviction that clean beauty and a sensual, high-quality skincare experience need not be a contradiction in terms.

The use of fragrance is also particularly exciting: all products contain natural fragrances and are formulated with the same fragrance architecture that is otherwise more familiar from traditional products. This is a special feature of Corpus: despite the deliberate avoidance of synthetic fragrances, the brand succeeds in creating a complex and luxurious fragrance experience. The development of each individual fragrance composition took over a year in some cases.

Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate

FAQ’S

Why does Corpus deodorant not contain aluminum or baking soda?

Corpus deodorants are natural deodorants and are therefore generally aluminum-free. In contrast, antiperspirants use aluminum to close the pores and artificially reduce perspiration. Corpus has consciously opted for a formula that works with the natural function of the body, instead of suppressing them.

Baking soda was also deliberately avoided. Although baking soda is often used in natural deodorants, it can irritate the skin. It can also leave the skin feeling grainy and cause white residue. Corpus has therefore opted for a formulation that is both effective and more pleasant on the skin.

I'm switching to a natural deodorant for the first time. What can I expect?

If you switch to body care products without synthetic or artificial ingredients, your body may go through a short adjustment phase. This is completely normal. During this time, some people notice a little more moisture or a change in body odor. However, many experience little to no change in terms of odor, wetness or skin feel.

A tip that is often heard in the early days: it can be helpful to apply deodorant twice a day at the beginning or in particularly warm, sweat-intensive months.

Does Corpus test on animals or does the brand test on animals?

No, Corpus does not test on animals and is not authorized by PETA as well as from the Leaping Bunny Program certified as cruelty-free.
