The Powder is a gentle, enzymatic exfoliating powder - the gentle alternative to classic scrubs. In contrast to mechanical peelings, which work through friction, enzymes specifically remove dead or damaged skin cells without attacking healthy cells. This makes it suitable for sensitive skin and ensures a fresh, even complexion.

With enzymes, turmeric and zinc, The Powder helps to refine pores, regulate excess oil and prevent blemishes. At the same time, pigmentation spots, sun damage and post-inflammatory marks are reduced. The skin appears smoother, finer and more receptive to subsequent skincare products - for more radiance and vitality.

Pour a small amount of powder into the palm of your hand, activate with a few drops of water to form a creamy liquid and massage into the skin for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or a muslin cloth. Use 1-4 times a week.

What is an enzyme peel and how does it work?

An enzyme exfoliant uses enzymes – natural proteins usually derived from fruits such as papaya or pineapple – to gently dissolve dead skin cells. These enzymes act like tiny “intelligent scissors”: they remove only the dull, outermost cells without irritating or stressing the skin. The result is smoother, more radiant skin – without the harshness of acids or mechanical scrubs. Because it works so gently, an enzyme exfoliant is also suitable for sensitive skin and helps support a balanced, healthy skin barrier.

Can I use The Powder together with AHAs, BHAs or retinoids?

Yes, you can use The Powder even if you use retinoids or other active ingredients – however, we recommend applying them on different days and not combining them. Exfoliation supports cell renewal and promotes smoother, more radiant skin, but exfoliating too often can weaken the skin barrier. Therefore, use The Powder on alternate days and pay attention to what feels best for your skin.

My skin is sensitive - can I still use The Powder?

If your skin tends to be sensitive, an enzyme exfoliant is a particularly gentle and effective way to promote skin renewal. Enzymes work without disrupting the skin’s microbiome and are significantly less irritating than acids (such as AHAs or BHAs). They break down the bonds between dead skin cells, refining the complexion – ideal for dryness, dullness, blemishes, or the first signs of aging.

Since The Powder is a rinse-off product, you can adjust the application time to your skin’s needs. If your skin is very sensitive, you can mix a small amount with your cleanser – this makes the exfoliation even gentler.
