A mineral sunscreen for the face with SPF50 for daily use.

Non-nano zinc oxide forms a layer on the skin that reflects UVA, UVB and blue light radiation. Vitamin C in a stabilized, SPF-suitable form has an antioxidant effect and helps to even out hyperpigmentation over time. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture in the upper layers of the skin, while grape ferment provides additional antioxidants. The texture is creamy, absorbs without a sticky film and leaves no white cast. Reef-friendly formulation.

So they made their own. As a former make-up artist and Head of R&D, Kim is responsible for the formulations, while Raf is the brand builder and manages the brand. Why we recommend it

Vitamin C in sun protection is a clever combination: while the zinc oxide reflects the UV radiation, the vitamin C intercepts the free radicals that are nevertheless produced in the skin. Over time, this can help to reduce pigmentation spots and prevent new ones. If your skin is prone to hyperpigmentation or you are currently in a phase of strong sun exposure, this option is the more obvious choice.

Ingredients

Non-nano zinc oxide Mineral broadband filter against UVA, UVB and blue light radiation. Lies as a fine layer on the skin and reflects the radiation. Non-nano means that the particles are too large to penetrate the skin or the bloodstream.

Vitamin C An antioxidant that helps the skin fight free radicals and helps even skin tone over time. A stabilized form is used here that is specially formulated for use with sunscreen and does not break down under UV light.

Hyaluronic acid Binds moisture in the upper layers of the skin and keeps it there. Ensures that the sunscreen does not have a drying effect and the skin feels smoother.

FAQ’S

What is the difference between SPF30 and SPF50?

The SPF number is a factor: SPF30 extends your skin's own protection time by a factor of 30, SPF50 by a factor of 50 - if applied correctly. If you apply too little, forget to reapply or don't reapply, you won't get the specified protection factor, regardless of the value on the tube. For everyday use - work, short walks outside, cloudy days - SPF30 is sufficient for most people. SPF50 is the more obvious choice if your skin is prone to pigmentation spots (the SPF50 version also contains vitamin C) or if you are in a phase of particularly strong sun exposure.

Is it also suitable for sensitive skin?

Mineral sun protection is generally better tolerated than chemical sun protection because the UV radiation is reflected on the skin's surface instead of penetrating the skin. Can I wear it under make-up?

Yes, apply over skincare, allow to absorb briefly, then apply make-up on top. The texture is designed to work as a base without foundation or concealer rolling off.
